This is a super cool Vetta Ermetico, a two-register chronograph in a large 38mm steel case. This cool chrono is housed in an Ermetico case, recognized for its distinctive step-design and waterproof capabilities, with large pushers and snap-on case back. As one of the pioneering waterproof cases for chronographs, the Ermetico was an important case maker in the 1940s , we love them !

This watch has all the charm of a classic vintage chrono with a lovely grey dial base with two black bands around the dial and black sub dials. The tachymeter and telemeter scales are in gold, with matching gold hands, and the dial features bold Arabic painted hour markers. We believe that the minute hand has been relumed at some point. The oversized steel case is in fantastic condition, with a well-defined step and those fantastic large pump puhsers. The watch is fitted with the pictured leather strap and the Valjoux 22 movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
