At hand, we have a lovely mid-1960s 18k gold–cased example, boasting a thick, well-preserved case and smooth bezel. The case back features a beautiful font and engraving — a stylised “W E W, 5th July 1966.” We believe this was a gift to the original owner at the time, adding a touch of personal history that we truly appreciate.

 

The dial is a stunning and very seldom-seen vertically brushed champagne colour, with simple markers and black text and soft yellow lume colour. The softly applied brushing gives this piece an almost mirror-like appearance — super cool.
