The original King Midas was introduced in 1962 and was designed by Gerald Genta. This watch is a reference 4611 and bears the “ΜΙΔAΣ” script in the lower half of the dial. And the dial is truly extra special in blue lapis lazuli in perfect condition with no cracks !
The minimalist no-lume dial is complemented with delicate hour and minute hands. The yellow gold case, we believe, unpolished and it is a hefty watch indeed! As if all this wasn’t special enough, the case is set with brilliant-cut diamonds on the lugs., stunning !The watch has a yellow gold integrated bracelet that will fit a wrist size of up to 19cm. The manual wind movement has been fully checked by our watchmaker.
