We love these classic vintage Datejusts with a plexi crystal but a quickset movement — the best of both worlds. The case and bezel remain in strong, crisp condition, and we especially love these bezels with reeding between the raised sections.

 

The Taupe/grey soleil dial (with a hint of beige !) is in great condition, featuring pleasing patina on the lume dots and seldom-seen hour markers.

 

The caseback is engraved: “Ameise 1957–25.1–1982.” We believe this may have been a gift to an employee of the German forklift company Ameise for 25 years of service. We cannot be certain, but it’s a charming detail that adds to the watch’s history.

 

The Jubilee bracelet is reference 62510H, in good condition, with 555 end links and a clasp stamped “RS 1.”
The watch and its quickset movement have been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
