Finding nice Datejusts isn’t as easy as it once was. We are particularly fond of these transitional vintage Datejusts, which combine all the charm of a plexi crystal with the practical benefit of a quickset date function.

 

This example features a super lovely and rare blue “computer” dial—sometimes also referred to as the “Jubilee” dial. It has a striking, almost three-dimensional effect created by the repeating Rolex logos, and it’s a dial we absolutely love. The blue has turned a litle bit purplish , a lovely hue!The hour plots have developed a warm yellow patina, which pairs beautifully with the gold printed text.

 

This steel and yellow gold Datejust retains the classic 36 mm case size and is in great overall condition, with added presence from the yellow gold bezel, crown, and bracelet. The Jubilee bracelet is reference 62513H, in good condition, fitted with 455 end links and a clasp stamped “J11”.

 

Furthermore, this blue beauty comes with its original punched warranty paper, stating a sale in 1987. Also included are the original Rolex paper holder and booklet and inner / outer boxes.
