In 1945, the iconic 36mm Datejust was introduced, but the original Oyster never disappeared and remains in the Rolex catalog. Initially, smaller versions with unique dial configurations were produced, and that’s exactly what we have here.

This reference 6444 is one of the rarest Oyster Precisions ever made. It boasts the iconic mid-sized (31mm) Oyster case with an exceptionally rare Chevron Dial, featuring alternating quadrant patterns and applied indices.
