Heuer Bund Chronograph 3 h small T dial with box and Bundeswehr paper ref 1550SG

This is a very cool issued military watch in a 43mm steel case with a rotating bezel, supplied to the German Bundeswehr (Federal Defence Force). These watches are highly sought after by military watch collectors, and this example is a particularly desirable ..

The bezel has faded to a mid-grey tone, but included in the sale is a second, unfaded bezel — allowing you to swap between the two if you wish.

The matte case is in excellent condition, and the caseback features the original German military markings: 6645-12-146-xxxx.

The black dial features the distinctive red '3H' marking, indicating the use of Hydrogen-3 — better known as tritium. This encircled 3H symbol was a military requirement. The dial also sports bold painted Arabic numerals with a warm yellow patina that pairs nicely with the lume in the hands.

The watch comes on its original (and collector-coveted) Bund strap, complete with Bundeswehr-issue numerals. An additional non-issued Bund strap is also included as well a lovely Bulang and sons 'Bund inspired leather strap.

Furthermore, the original cardboard box is present, along with the super rare "Materialamt der Bundeswehr" document — the department responsible for managing and supplying equipment within the German military. This paperwork includes a date of service(1968) and operating instructions booklet is also included.

The Valjoux 230 calibre has been fully serviced by our watchmaker and is running beautifully.

We also have done a nice strap guide for these bad - boys over HERE
