Cartier Tank Must de Cartier Limited Edition "Art Deco" Ref 1614
This is a very cool and rare Must de Cartier Tank that was originally released in 1995 to celebrate 70th anniversary of the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts held in 1925. The event held in Paris, attracted thousands of visitors and was seen as a major turning point in the world of design as it introduced to the world the new style modern of architecture, interior decoration, furniture and other decorative arts.
This is a lovely silver Tank in superb condition, in a case that measures 28x20mm and is stamped 67x/1000 pieces. The dial is Art Deco inspired and features four colours, including black, dark purple, matte silver and matte gold, with some Roman numeral quarters and the Must de Cartier signature in the lower right corner. The watch has the classic Cartier signature of a blue cabochon topped winding crown and comes fitted with tye pictured leather strap. It has been checked by our watchmaker and a new battery has been installed.
