Audemars Piguet Huitième Perpetual Calendar Platinum Ref 25751PT
When we think of AP, it’s difficult not to think of the Royal Oak. To address this Audemars created the Huitième line to offer haute horology,such as this incredible platinum perpetual calendar, and keep up with brands such as Patek and Vacheron. This is a very special watch that combines two complications – the perpetual calendar and a chronograph. Pure class!
This example remains in outstanding original condition with a good case and fantastic overall aesthetics., weighing a hefty 250 gram !The 40 mm case has 4 setting pushers on the side and two pushers for the chronograph function. The watch has a lovely rich blue dial with tachymeter scale, serif AP font and thin polished non luminous hands for minutes and hours and polished and white painted hands for calendar and chronograph function. The two different complications are integrated in the sunken sub dials. The counters at 6, 9, and 12 o’clock positions display the day, month, leap year, and date functions plus the chronograph function. The moon phase indicator is at 3 o clock. The watch is fitted with the original platinum braclet that will fit a wrist size up to 18cm. The watch houses the automatic calibre 2226 /2839 based on a Jaeger-LeCoultre ebauche and Dubois Depraz module that has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker. The watch is accompanied by a digital extract from the archive stating a registration date of May 1995 , as well an big an big AP watch winder With the outer box that has some wear.
These watches were not mass produced , they were one by one ordered and it is believed 8 were made and ordered !
